{"id":4853,"date":"2024-06-04T14:53:14","date_gmt":"2024-06-04T14:53:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/d-network.eu\/jobs\/legal-counsel\/"},"modified":"2024-06-13T11:46:45","modified_gmt":"2024-06-13T11:46:45","slug":"legal-counsel","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/d-network.eu\/en\/jobs\/legal-counsel\/","title":{"rendered":"LEGAL COUNSEL  &#8211; Permanent contract"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Corporate Legal Officer is accountable for taking the day-to-day legal responsibilities and providing legal advice that includes all aspects of the analysis, investigation and drafting process relating to business transactions and transactions of the company.\u00a0 He\/she manages the business legal risks of the company.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor investment and disinvestment files : be actively involved in analysing, preparing and drafting of the various legal documents of the transaction and follow up on legal risk issues, due diligence, structure : legal aspects, drafting of legal documents and closing.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct legal analysis and research on various legal matters.<\/li>\n<li>Review all contracts\/documents submitted for legal opinion of the department.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and monitor the legal aspects of town planning and environmental files.<\/li>\n<li>Deal with the management of pre-litigation and litigation files.<\/li>\n<li>In general, manage the legal risk of the company.<\/li>\n<li>Provide the interface with external advisors.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support\/advice\/implement the decisions of the Executive Committee (on request).<\/li>\n<li>Provide and disseminate legal information on general matters or ad hoc.<\/li>\n<li>Provide legal support concerning treasury and finance activities, accounting and financial law<\/li>\n<li>Manage insurance contracts : negociation of and applications for coverage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trilingual NL, FR, English (oral and written)<\/li>\n<li>Office automation knowledge : MS Office : Word\/Excel<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of civil law governing property, leases, town planning, environment, including :\n<ul>\n<li>the ability to draw up\/supply clear, ad hoc legal opinions for other departments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Ability to draw up contracts in FR, NL.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to negociate contractual clauses (defend a legal point of view in relation to outsiders) in FR, NL.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Corporate Legal Officer is accountable for taking the day-to-day legal responsibilities and providing legal advice that includes all aspects of the analysis, investigation and drafting process relating to business transactions and transactions of the company.\u00a0 He\/she manages the business legal risks of the company.
